The general facts of air conditioning systems.

Several Brisbane air conditioning systems are available for both residential and commercial use. Air conditioning systems range from large central systems using compressors that are located outside a home or business establishment to small plug-in air conditioning units that can be located on the floor or in a window mount of small rooms or commercial offices.

All Brisbane air conditioning systems have similar working parts to deliver fresh cooled air inside a home or commercial establishment; both have a refrigerant, a compressor motor, condenser coils, expansion valves, and evaporator coils. All residential and commercial air conditioning systems work by transferring ambient indoor heat and moisture from the inside to the outside while simultaneously cooling air that is delivered to the interiors of homes and commercial establishments.

The air conditioning process naturally dehumidifies and cools indoor air making it feel fresher and cleaner. Air conditioning systems work by chilling the indoor air, then releasing the heat outdoors until a manual or automatic thermostat stops the cooling cycle when the desired room temperature is met.

Residential and commercial Brisbane air conditioning systems, from the smallest cooling units to the largest air conditioning systems ideal for large commercial floor areas work on the same principle but with the larger air conditioning units having more elaborate systems and ducting that greatly helps facilitate the indoor cooling process particularly on large commercial floor spaces

The most easily available air conditioning system is the window-mounted air conditioning unit which consists of a lightweight self-contained unit that is mounted on a window or a hole in an exterior wall and is ideal for small residential rooms or small commercial offices. The window-mounted air conditioning systems come in many sizes and cooling capacities to cool small residential and commercial indoor spaces up to an entire floor and with some very large window-mounted air conditioning systems able to cool an entire small home or large office space.

A portable air conditioning system is a mobile, self-contained air conditioning unit that can be placed anywhere in a room, or on the floor, that discharges its exhaust heat using a flexible duct through an exterior wall or window vent. Portable air conditioning systems are light enough to carry but are generally noisier than traditional air conditioning systems. Portable air conditioning systems are generally used in smaller rooms such as small field offices or children's rooms.

Split-type or ductless air conditioning systems are commonly found in homes as well as hotels and commercial establishments. The advantage of having a split-type or ductless air conditioning system is that they also function as heat pumps for indoor heating thereby providing homes and businesses with convenient versatility in warming their interiors in the winter and for cooling during summertime. The split-type or ductless air conditioning system generally comes in two packages with its condensing unit located outside a home or commercial establishment's exterior walls with its evaporative unit located indoors to efficiently handle interior cooling and cooled air distribution.

The ductless air conditioning system on the other hand is the largest type of conventional domestic air conditioning available for homes and commercial establishments. It is similar to a split-type air conditioning system with a central system that is made up of two units with both the condensing unit and the evaporative unit connected using refrigerant tubing. It is a large and boxy unit and is typically the most effective type of air conditioning system for efficiently cooling large homes and large commercial spaces.
